BACK-END DEVELOPER

With a team of 16 people, Hexon has been active in providing services to the automotive industry for over 26 years. The supported sectors include not only passenger cars, but also commercial vehicles, trucks, machinery, recreational vehicles, and parts.

DV, a service that enables the connection of various systems via data links, is currently the primary service offering, serving more than 23,000 end users.

Job profile

We are currently looking for a back-end developer who will focus primarily on developing our DV service, and you will ensure the quality of our service delivery by reviewing code from other developers.

​

As an experienced developer, you possess strong abstract reasoning skills, solid knowledge of modeling, good knowledge of databases, and an affinity for developing and/or working on a framework.

WORKING AT HEXON

PLATFORM ENGINEER

Are you an independent Linux specialist who enjoys taking ownership of a business-critical platform? Then we are looking for you.

Job profile

You manage and develop our Linux-based hosting infrastructure running core systems with high availability requirements. You are responsible for stability, monitoring, automation, and technical improvements.

Technical skills

  • ±120 Linux VM’s (Ubuntu LTS)

  • VMware-based private cloud + externe providers

  • No hyperscalers (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  • SaltStack

  • Proper provisioning layer

  • Zabbix monitoring and alerting

  • Application stack: Apache, MySQL, Go, PHP

What you do

  • Taking ownership of the platform

  • Management of servers and virtual machines

  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and patch management

  • Improving automation and provisioning

  • Optimizing monitoring, infrastructure, and deployment

  • Evaluating tooling and architecture / Researching and implementing new tooling

  • Technical proposals and advice for management

You bring along

  • Strong Linux and network knowledge

  • Experience with production environments

  • Familiar with monitoring and automation

  • Independent, proactive, and pragmatic

  • Good documentation skills

  • Technical curiosity
